You as a member own your local Friskis organisation, together with all other members. This means that you can make suggestions to influence how the association works and develops! Friskis & Svettis is a non-profit association. Much of our business is developed through the involvement of members and functionaries. Everything is based on personal initiative.

Annual meeting for major decisions

The annual meeting is the association's highest decision-making body. The decisions that the members take here govern the whole of your local Friskis's business. You who are a member have the right to vote and to submit motions (proposals) about the association's future. At the annual meeting, it is decided which ones will be included in the board and which assignments the board receives. Here you also vote on all motions that have come in from members.

The board

The Board of Directors consists of a chairman and a number of members. They are responsible for ensuring that the association's activities are run according to the plans and goals that the annual meeting (members) have decided. They are also responsible for ensuring that the association always takes advantage of the members' interests.
